Identity Mapping workshop + a bit of a blog

The February Identity Mapping workshop is just a few days away and I am looking forward to it. If you have been in deep contemplation around attending, there are 2 spots left! Please get in touch if you would like to attend.

There has been a change in venue for the Friday evening portion of the workshop. It is now in downtown Seattle at:

The Lloyd Building
603 Stewart St, Suite 502
*main door is on Stewart Street, between the teriyaki place and Spex

It’s a quick downhill bus ride, (#10 or 11) walk or bicycle from Capitol Hill. If you are driving, there is $5 evening parking available nearby (see attached map). I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Please be sure to eat before, bring water, and maybe even hot coffee or tea. I will be providing workbooks with blank space for capturing your thoughts but feel free to bring a journal.

We will be meeting as planned at Seattle Yoga Arts on Saturday, 9:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.

A Bit of a Blog
In anticipation of this workshop, I have been reflecting on what a true practice it is to create a life that is a reflection of who I am. I find myself easily caught up in what is urgent rather than important. I admit I am seduced by the satisfaction of checking things off my to do list. To do what is important needs more space for reflection and creation than I tend to leave in my days. And, what's important often doesn't result in a tangible outcome within the day. If I'm lucky, I end up with a scribble in my notebook or on my iPhone along the lines of "something about the shadow side of identity" or "blog on practice".  So, here I am practicing.  Making a bit of space for reflecting and creating. Now the practice is to be happy with the "bit". My book might just get written one bit at a time.

What bit of practice can you add to your week to help you create a life that is a reflection of who are, one little bit a time?
